The night was dark, the air was cool and fresh, but despite how such an atmosphere usually calmed the young vampire's nerves she couldn't get past her problem for the moment. "Do I even have to ask how your request to join the Supernatural Historian Society went?" A tall, pale, blonde woman in a rather showing red dress asked, suddenly sitting next to the younger.
"I was rejected.... AGAIN!" Overcast huffed, not shifting her gaze from the trees straight ahead of her. "Its just not fair... I'm as knowledgable as the rest of 'em. But 'cause of some stupid prejudice I can't seem to have anything." She growled, finally turning to her companion. "Can't you do anything about it? Yer' the queen fer' cryin' out loud!" The blonde shook her head. "Can't ya' help me at all, Lilith?" OV said with a sigh.
"You know I've been trying my hardest. No civilization is perfect, dear. There's going to be some form of prejudice. No matter what their leader says." Lilith stood up, taking a step or two away from her apprentice. "You'll be fine on your own, dear?"
"Yeah..." The younger of the two replied.
"Mm, alright... Just don't stay out too late. Dawn waits for no vampire, you know." Lilith chuckled, walking away. Overcast rolled her eyes and turned.
"Yeah, whate-" There was no one there. "...I hate it when she does that..." OV continued to grumble about her predicament, resting her face in her hands. Above her a flock of birds suddenly took off, she heard other wild life in the forest just... Take off. "What the..." Overcast stood up, looking around. "Alright... Where'd y'all take off to...?"
The young vampiress paused, listening. Something was making its way through the forest. Something big. "Ooooh... I do NOT like the sound of that... I should probably make a break fer' it now... Yeah, that'd be smart." She was just about to do just that when a rather large robot burst out of the trees. "Holy crap! Giant robot! Thats never a good sign..."
"Greetings, pathetic life forms. Your planet is now my planet. Some of you will die, and the rest of you will WISH you were dead. But I require entertainment, so I will take some people off your planet to transfer them to my location. Do not be jealous of them, they probably won't fare too well here either."
"Dwa? I don't like the sound of that... Not at all. Okay, time to get lost! Exit! Stage le-" And she fell to the ground like a lead weight.

"HUH?! NO OFFICER! I SWEAR, SOMEONE PLANTED STEPHANIE MEYER'S HEAD IN MY CAR! I'M INNOCENT!" Overcast jolted awake, looking around. "Ow... Thing sure packed a punch... Literally..." OV dusted herself off, checked to see if she had all her things, that wasn't much so it didn't take long, and proceeded to continue looking around. "Oy... This is either gonna be totally epic or epic fail... And something tells me its gonna be the latter..."
