Trying not to sleep......

Sic stood in their quarters, growling angrily, holding an axe close. No one screwed with Sic's dreams and got away unscathed!

Sic's eyes tried to close, but Sic quickly smacked themself. They had to stay awake, or else that rat bastard would return. Staying awake proved to be harder than they thought though.....it'd been nearly a day since they had slept. Sic sat down in a chair, sinking into it tiredly. Sitting would be fine, just had to stay awake...Sic's eyes began closing again, but this time they couldn't muster the strength to slap themself. Inevitably, Sic had fallen asleep.

...SiC was in his chair. The room seemed rather unchanged... at the moment. An eerie quiet hung- Freddy had given the dreamer first move.

Sic jerked up from the chair, and looked around. Well, that was good, they were still awake. Close call though. Sic held their axe closer anyways, in case that Corny guy came in. The guy was possessed after all. If Freddy showed himself as Corny, he wouldn't hesitate to chop him to bits. Sic was a little on edge though. The place was deathly quiet. Usually, they appreciated this...but not tonight...

"HEY!! SOMEONE MAKE SOME GODDAMN NOISE!!" Sic yelled, not caring that no one could probably hear them.

An eerie scraping echoed, Freddy lurking, his claws scraping the windowpane...

He grinned evilly at SiC, as if to say "Come and get me."

Sic jerked their head around at the noise. And there, RIGHT THERE, was that FUCKIN PRICK. Sic didn't question why, or how. They just focused their attention on cutting Freddy to little tiny bits.

"Oh, I'M COMING TO GET YA, YA FUCKING DICK!!" Sic yelled, raising their axe as they ran down the area they thought he had gone down.

Sic looked around, not a soul in sight. That was.....very creepy. Sic held the axe closer, as they walked down the hall quietly, ready to swing.

Freddy chuckled.

"I'm over here!" he said.

"No, here!" said his reflection in a mirror. Slowly, the room changed to a hall of mirrors, all of them with his reflection. He laughed maniacally.

Sic blinked at the mirrors. Since when did they-OH THAT LITTLE-DAMMIT!!! They HAD fallen asleep. Sic growled.

"YOU BASTARD!! YOU FUCKIN' TRICKED ME!!" Sic yelled, swinging their axe and destroying as many mirrors as they could. Sic panted a bit, before trying to smash as many shards of glass as they could.

After finally calming down, Sic raised the axe again, looking for Freddy.

"I AM GONNA CHOP YOUR FUCKIN' DICK OFF!!"

Freddy chuckled.

"Oh yeah, tough guy? How do you like this?" His arm came from a mirror behind SiC, and stabbed him.

Sic gasped as they felt something stab them from behind. They turned around and glared at the reflection.

"ALL YOU'VE DONE IS PISS ME OFF!!!" Sic yelled, raising their axe and smashing that mirror too.

Kreuger emerged from the shadows.

"Hehehe... You don't get it. You're in my territory here..."

Freddy stabbed him again, lifting him into the air.

Link looked around.; there sure were a lot of mirrors in here. What a weird place.

He didn't realize that he'd again stumbled into another's dream, just like when he'd washed up on the surreal shores of Koholint. The island and all its inhabitants, even the sweet and beautuful Marin, had all been part of a dream world, a dream world that had been invaded by evil monsters who called themselves the Nightmares. Link had defeated each one and awoken the dreamer, the Wind Fish, which had in turn destroyed the island of Koholint, leaving only memories of the friends he'd made there.

He stopped moving as he heard voices. He drew his sword and shield without a sound and stepped around the corner to see the two men. Link dashed forward, ramming his sword into the redead-like man that was holding SIC. He probably should have stopped to ask what was going on, but he really was more the kind to rush in first and asked questions later, and he knew a monster when he saw one.
